Race Concepts is recognized as a leading Indian motorsport team and performance tuning company. Established in 2011 by Joel Joseph, Race Concepts has set and broken numerous records across the country, along its way to redefining the standard for automotive performance, reliability and refinement in the country.
Ever since its inception, Race Concepts has spared no effort to build cars and bikes that have the potential to compete and win in the National Championship. In addition, the team has also provided top-class technical support. It is this zero-compromise approach that has resulted in numerous records being shattered across all forms of motorsport in a relatively short span of time.
While Race Concepts passionately competes in all forms of the sport, circuit racing was where we first made a name for ourselves. In our debut year, 2014, we fielded entries in the Super Stock class as an independent racing team - with founder, Joel Joseph, building as well as racing the cars to victory.
Ever since 2014, we’ve gone from strength to strength. Today, we are proud to say that we have the fastest Hondas ever to hit the circuits in India in our stable, with multiple wins and lap records to our name.
Race Concepts Motorsport made its debut in the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) with Group N cars in 2016, setting quick stage times and finishing on the podium the same year. The team has made an impact on the sport ever since, with multiple overall and category victories. Further, the team debuted an R2 spec Mitsubishi Cedia as well as the first ever Honda City iVtec in Indian motorsport in the 2019 season.
Race Concepts has been dominating the drag circuit in India with the Honda City VTEC dragster. The car earned a reputation for itself as the quickest Naturally Aspirated Indian car since a blistering 13 second quarter mile run in 2013. The car further evolved into a turbocharged avatar making the highest horsepower for a Front Wheel Drive car in the country. It went on to set a quarter mile record of 11.0 seconds, cementing its dominance across all drag race events in the country for 4 years in a row.
Ever since 2014, we have set new benchmarks in Indian Motorsport, competing in all of the sporting formats, shattering nearly all previously held records. Our builds have proven themselves over the years in terms of performance, reliability and refinement and have garnered massive success for our drivers.
